A Viral Movement
During a school day that should have been a snow day, I corralled a group of friends and called on others at schools across the county to spread the hashtag #CloseFCPS like wildfire in an effort to get the day off.
Besides receiving an early release and an apology, the trend went #1 in the U.S. on Twitter and #4 worldwide. My tweets were featured in various nationwide articles, including The Washington Post.
Strategic Communications
Through strategic storytelling and automated touch points for stakeholders and donors, I oversaw a year of a 150% improvement to our user conversion rates, and overall 62% increase in organic media engagement, and implemented new funnels that alone brought in over $8,000 in new donations.
The creation of guides, an eased user experience, and strong storytelling led to an increase in members served, in turn, increasing overall funding and reach for the organization to expand into more regions.

Event Branding
& Production
The Technology Access Foundation's annual fundraiser luncheon brings together all elements of the foundation's impact - from students, to educators, and industry professionals for 300+ attendees.
A sharp pivot took place to transition all plans to go virtual. With digital automations to speedy communications, collaboration with an Emmy-award winning videographer, and a strong visual campaign digitally and through direct mail, we saw a 20% increase in donations, reached over 2,000 additional people virtually, and launched new marketing automations and donation features for years to come.
